As a family-owned business, Corbin's Drapery has proudly served its community and surrounding area since 1954. Located in the heart of downtown Jasper, Indiana, Marvin and Sylvia Corbin established Corbin's Department Store based on the values of quality products and personalized service. Originally only 300 square feet of the store was dedicated to their ever growing drapery department. Through the years the drapery department expanded into a 5000 square foot building and their son, Gary Corbin, joined the team. With the untimely passing of Marvin, Gary and long time employee, Ron, combined experience and talent to carry the business forward.

 

At the beginning of 2021, the torch was passed onto new but very familiar faces in the home interior industry, with over 100 years of combined experience. Though the name has changed to Corbin's Drapery & Design Studio, our product offerings of custom draperies and valances, blinds, shades, and shutters have remained the same. We still design and hand sew all of our custom draperies and valances in our own workroom. The showroom has been transformed and expanded into a full-service design studio with furniture, bedding, and accessories.
